The ARRI ZMU-4 Zoom Control utilizes both onboard ports for wired and the radio module interface for wireless zoom function control. Its slim, ambidextrous design makes it easy to attach to your camera rig or hold in your hand. The included RF-EMIP Radio Module facilitates wireless 2400 MHz connection with up to 14 channels.
The unit features a 4-pin LEMO port for LBUS control with compatible ARRI cameras and lens motors, and it can even daisy-chain units together. A 7-pin LEMO port offers control of third-party camera systems like Canon and RED models. Onboard control buttons work in tandem with the TFT display to easily set parameters. When connected to a compatible camera unit, three user buttons can be customized for specific camera function shortcuts for the operator. Two zoom buttons can increase or decrease your movement's overall speed
When paired with an ARRI radio module, the ZMU-4 acts as a wireless connection for LBUS control devices like the ARRI OCU-1 control unit or Master Grip handles for expanded, multi-axis FIZ control. A force-sensitive joystick and run/stop button with a tally light engages your pre-set zoom protocols with ease. The display shows your exact focal length at any point within your zoom range, the speed of the zoom, and the remaining battery power. You can even set markers and limits for individual shots, all within the ZMU-4 interface.
