The ARRI 435 ES is a precision-engineered 35mm MOS camera designed for high-speed and effects-driven cinematography. It supports forward and reverse motion filming from 1 to 150 frames per second, with crystal-synced frame rate control and advanced in-camera ramping for both speed and shutter angle. The electronically controlled reflex mirror shutter is adjustable from 11.2° to 180°, offering fine exposure control and smooth motion transitions.

This model features a standard PL mount, interchangeable ground glass for multiple aspect ratios, and compatibility with 400' coaxial magazines, including Steadicam options. It is equipped with a standard IVS (Integrated Video System) for SD video assist and uses a Gold Mount battery belt to supply regulated 24V DC input.
